Apple's Ad-Blocker can Block Annoying Ads to Save Money and Time

In the hectic schedule, we are completely frustrated with pop-up ads and unwanted intrusions when browsing the web on iPhone. By having the peep, Apple has quietly in its operating system's version Safari includes support for content blocking extensions or in other words we say that, it can block the ads.

Apple allows the ad-blockers for its mobile services to find out the software for its iPhone 6 data plan. By having the mobile ad blocker in the Safari browser, netted a 21%  increment in its battery life and reduces the data consumption usage.

In the research, it is found that some sites featured video ads front and center. NYT tested over 50 news sites in total, including Engadget.

From the survey, it is clear that all the data on the tested pages comes from the ads. The Engadget's home page takes 0.9 seconds to load the ads and 6.3 seconds to load the editorial content. Boston.com takes out a 30.8 seconds to load 15.4 MB advertising content, and 8.1 seconds to load 4MB of editorial content.
