Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will be launching more new models in the coming nine months. The new products will also include an array of upgraded version of existing bikes in India. This strategy is meant to counter the primer bike manufacturer, Honda. The company is going to hit the market with new models that will directly rival with Honda products.
Speaking about the company plans, Pawan Munjal, chairman, Hero MotoCorp said, "After almost two years, the monsoons are going well. This will be very positive for sales, although a full effect of this will come only towards the later half of the year."
The bike maker aims that that the monsoon will witness a good number of two-wheeler buyers in the country. So, the company is indulged into updated its current product line-up. The new products will be equipped with some tuned engine and value added features. The company now eyes on the small scooter segment. The company owns a 17 percent market share in the scooter market in India. The company expects to enhance the figure by three percent.

The premium products in the scooter category such as the Maestro Edge and the Duet have been successfully attracting the masses in India. We are looking forward to see some more refined product range from the domestic company.
