Today iBall has unveiled a new budget smartphone dubbed as Cobalt 5.5F Youva. It is savailable on leading online retail stores at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. The smartphone is touted as, " designed exclusively for youth."
In terms of specification, the dual SIM based smartphone is featuring a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 267ppi. The device is operated on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor (unspecified) clocked at 1GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
On the storage end, the Cobalt 5.5F Youva comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. The company reveals that the smartphone features a 'Video Eye Control' functionality that automatically plays and pauses the video by tracking the user's eye movements. It also houses a Miravision Technology, Hot Knot, smart controls and wake gesture.
For the photography, the camera bears a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash and a 8 megapixel front-facing camera on the board. For the connectivity, it offers 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB (with OTG support), FM radio, and Bluetooth options.
The smartphone is backed by a 2600mAH battery, which completes the package. The company is also offering the device with the support of 21 regional read and write languages. The smartphone is packed with two back covers and a protective cover.
