Apple Security Concern aims to Remove Apps from App Store

Apple being the big brand or the brand setter has been indulged into the major security issues. The concern is therefore raised regarding the security of the App store as well as the devices pursuing iOS platform. The company has recently worked upon it and has removes a few apps from the App store to place a security concern with more secure platform.

Apple Inc on October 8th has raised the concern by removing a few applications from the App store, preserving the users' private data that could be compromised in certain circumstances. The company said the apps threatened users' security by installing certificates that can expose data to monitoring by third parties. It didn’t specify the actual issue and didn't even mention the number of apps that has been removed.

An Apple spokeswoman said in a statement, "Apple is deeply committed to protecting customer privacy and security. We are working closely with these developers to quickly get their apps back on the App Store, while ensuring customer privacy and security is not at risk". The protection to the safest devices is important and so does the company understands the needs and issues.

The applications should not be overloaded as it reduces the efficiency of the device and minimizes the multi tasking environment. For the security breaches, apps with so-called root certificates, route user data to servers where it can be analyzed.  It helps in opening the door for network providers to view encrypted traffic, leaving users vulnerable to data breaches.

One of the removed app is Been Choice, which has attracted attention for its ability to block advertising in apps. The ads sometimes irritate the user by flashing and filling the window each time. It therefore, helps to block the ads, but since it has not been used by various of the users, the company has removed the slang. Further exploring, an Apple spokeswoman said that the company would release a support page to help users remove the apps in question from their devices, for the users to choose the type of app they want to get hitched to their iOS phones.
