Intex Unveiled Aqua 4G Strong With VoLTE Support at Rs. 4,499

Intex, one of the biggest smartphone maker firm in India has launched its new 4G-enabled budget smartphone. The new Aqua 4G Strong smartphone is hanged on the company's website at a price tag of Rs. 4,999 without availability details.

The well-knowned company has been planning to expand its 4G line of smartphones under Rs. 10,000 category. Earlier this month, the Intex Aqua Raze and Intex Aqua Wing were launched at Rs. 5,199 and Rs. 4,599 respectively. The major USP of the Intex Aqua 4G Stong is it features a 4G LTE as well as voice over LTE (VoLTE). As per the official listing, the Aqua 4G Strong supports the two LTE bands in India- FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40).

At this nominal price tag, the Intex Aqua 4G might prove itself as a strong competitor against the popular handsets that includes Lenovo A2010, ZTE Blade Qlux 4G and the Phicomm Energy 653 that were launched under the price tag of Rs. 5,000.

In terms of specifications, the Aqua 4G Strong is featuring a 4-inch WVGA display having a resolution of 480*800 pixels. The device offers a pixel density of 233ppi and runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) processor coupled with 768MB of RAM.

On the storage board, it houses a 4GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. On the photography end, the device bears a 2-megapixel camera at the rear end while 0.3-megapixel shooter at the front end on the board. the rear camera is enriched by an LED flashlight.

For the connectivity point of view, the smartphone include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB options. It is backed by a 1700mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 240 hours of standby time.
